I remember a program called ‘Points of View‘, headed by Barry Took from ’79-86, and now headed by Jeremy Vine. It took advantage of the unique British way of doing things as Victoria Wood put it, “When the Russians feel strongly about an issue they form a bloody revolution — the British write a strongly worded letter to Points of View”
In todays world of MEGA hype, SKY TV, twitter, blogs, facebook, iPhone App’s, neon signs, and hoodies, writing a ‘strongly worded’ letter just doesn’t cut the mustard.
